You are a criminal in a mass of people trying to frame, commit crimes, or serve justice across the city.
THE PREMISE
Your life is committing crimes, but sometimes you get caught or put on trial, and you need to defend yourself... Unfortunately for you, this is your life, and you tend to do a lot of bad things. Good luck staying out of justice whilst trying to commit crimes or frame everyone else until there is a winning faction.
Feel free to skip the following and just inquire along the way as to either what you're doing, but it would be beneficial of you to read the details of how it works.
THE DETAILS
There are two general types of people: lawyers and criminals. Criminals are tied directly to their factions, while lawyers are independent and can work for anyone. Criminals can frame or serve justice against anyone not in their faction (including lawyers), and lawyers can frame or serve justice against anyone, period.
As an inhabitant of the city, you have a home, which is not at your faction (more on that later) - there is a north, a south, an east, and a west. If you commit a crime, there is a chance you are being watched to get framed or serve justice - however, you can choose to not do anything for a cycle. As a part of your faction, you have to commit a crime, frame someone, or serve justice every 3 day cycles. If you don't, you get kicked out of your faction. You have one day to find and join another faction, but there is a chance that you get framed or killed in the process.

You also need to find a lawyer if you think you can frame or serve justice on someone. By default, there is a minimum of two, and the defendant and the offending need to have separate lawyers. These guys are so good, though, that their names aren't in papers, or in public places. You have to find them by prospecting certain people, which is also how you can frame people, or serve justice.
As a lawyer, it is possible to frame criminals or other lawyers and their affiliates. You do not need another lawyer if you have your own case. However, you must be conscious of your identity, because if it is known that you are a lawyer, you might be committed against or framed, in which case another lawyer is elected.
There is only one trial at once, that occurs every two days. It is up to the lawyers and their affiliates to persecute and defend, and to gather evidence. A case of justice needs a linking faction and a crime. If the defendant is found to have neither committed the crime or been of the faction, he is let go.

THE REST
Most of this will probably be by PM, simply because most of the information will be confidential. (In that case, it's probably a lot like TvM, though I never played it myself.) The court cases, the evidence, and the conclusions are all made public, in the thread. The case is proposed through PM by the lawyers, and the lawyers and criminals are permitted to talk if need be via PM. I will present the case and the defendant or persecutor will provide evidence, before I make my conclusion. Also in the thread are any questions suitable for answering and general discussion, at your own risk.
I've probably forgotten a bit, but that is why there are first times. There will also probably be a bit of tweaking as we go. Ideally, if there are six people that want to join, that'd be great . . . ktnx.
